Preserve Our Parks

Washington Crossing Historic Park and Delaware Canal State Park are an integral part of Upper Makefield's cultural and historical heritage; however, the sanctity of these preserves is threatened.  At present, a hardwood forest forms the backdrop along Washington Lagoon and the adjacent length of canal.  If we do not act quickly, though, these parks will become nothing more than a "nice view" for a sprawling apartment complex; a rich wildlife habitat will be replaced by asphalt.  We need your help -- please study the information provided in these pages and then act to save Revolutionary Ridge from the Taylor's View development.
